MECKLEY - On Aug. 3, 1976, at 5:30 a.m. at York Hospital, Irene Hartman Meckley, widow of John E. Meckley, Glen Rock RD 1, aged 78 years, 4 months, 29 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday at 10 a.m. from the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 9.

Mrs. Irene M. Meckley

GLEN ROCK - Mrs. Irene M. Hartman Meckley, 78, Glen Rock RD 1, widow of John E. Meckley, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in York Hospital where she was a patient one week.
She was born in Codorus Township in the same house in which she resided, daughter of the late Lewis and Mary Nafe Hartman. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of St. Jacob's (Stone) Union Church, near Brodbecks.
Surviving are two sons, Lewis D. Meckley, Glen Rock RD 1, and Leroy H. Meckley, Seven Valleys RD 2; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home. Her pastor, the Rev. Richard C. Weaver, assisted by the Rev. Dr. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, retired former pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery.
