Eva Bracewell Robertson of Allerton, Iowa, was born April 19, 1898. She departed this life on November 9, 1974 after a short illness, at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 10 days. She was the daughter of John and Margaret Ellen Bracewell. She was married to Charley Robertson 55 years ago last March 19th. They spent their married life on the farm, retiring and moving to Allerton 7 years ago.
She had been a member of the New Zion Methodist Church since her early years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and an older brother Pearl Bracewell in 1973. She is survived by her husband Charley of Allerton, one sister Nell Prettyman of Chula Vista, California and one brother Leo Bracewell of Pasadena, California. Also several nieces and nephews and close relatives to mourn her passing.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 11, 1974 at 2:00 p.m. from the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. The pallbearers were Jay Greenlee, Raymond Barnett, George Buoy, Lloyd Greenlee, Dale Rickert and Homer Shepard. Interment was in the Allerton Cemetery.
