DAVIS - Elias H was born in Wythe co, Va, in the year 1807, and died at Wyoming, Nebraska on 20 June 1871. Wrecked in finances by the events of the late war, he sought and found a home in Nebraska and by care and industry secured a competency for himself and family. During the late revival in his town under the ministry of the Protestant Methodists, he was greatly revived, but was already in the Church of his choice. His aged companion, now left to walk the vale of life alone, is cheered by the hope of reunion in heaven. - A Williams.
