She attended grade and high school in New Market and Bedford. After graduation she attended Capitol City Commercial College in Des Moines. On Jan. 29, 1921, she married William Albert McClelland in Des Moines. He preceded her in death in 1961.
She lived in Corning and Creston until five years ago when she moved to Wyoming. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and Legion Auxiliary in Corning. She was a member of the United Congregational Church of Christ In Douglas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers, Alfred. Louie, George and Harry; five sisters Hapillona Farlow, Mary Wehrkamp, Cynthia Hopson, Thelma Rapp and Theo Squair.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth J. Beatty and Dorothy (Mrs. O.E.) Stevens, both of Douglas, Wyo.; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; and one sister-in-law.
Services were held Thursday. March 7, at the Roland-Lindsay Funeral Chapel in Corning with the Rev. Kenneth Rummer officiating. The cremated remains were buried at Methodist Grove Cemetery in rural Adams County.
Memorials have been suggested to the Presbyterian Church in Corning.
