Mrs. Elnora A. Breen, 75, 713½ Avenue H., Fort Madison, Iowa, died at her home at 2 o'clock Tuesday, April 27 after an illness from which she suffered the past five years. She had been seriously ill the past seven weeks. Mrs. Breen, nee Elnora A. Buck, was born in Clark county, Missouri, December 21, 1861, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Buck. She had been a resident of Fort Madison 36 years. Mr. Breen was married to C. L. Breen at her home in Clark county, Mo., December 30, 1886. She was a member of the Christian church of Denver, Ill. Surviving are her husband, one son, C. R. Breen, Forst Madison; two daughters, Mrs. L. E. Etka, Fort Madison and Mrs. Mary Maddox, Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Dr. E. M. Buck, Montrose, Iowa; John Buck, LaFayette, Indiana and O. C. Buck of Kahoka, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One son, Harry Breen and one daughter, Ruby Breen, her parents, five sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Clements' chapel, Ft. Madison, Rev. C. E. Francisco officiating. Interment was in Oakland cemetery.
