She was a fur finisher for John B. Proflic Furs in Peoria for 20 years and Adrian Thal Furs in Miami, FL for 10 years. She attended the Madison Avenue Methodist Church and First Baptist Church, both in Peoria.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia King of Aurora; three granddaughters, two grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; a son, Stephen (1997); two brothers and a sister.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Morton Apostolic Christian Church ministers officiating. There will be no visitation. Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home in Morton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke, 1102 West Randolph Street, Roanoke, IL 61561.
