Jeremiah Davidson served as a member of the 13th Kentucky Cavalry Co "I", CSA rank of Private from 1862 to June 1863. Before the war he was a farmer.
This according to war records received from Frankfort, KY. According to the 1890 Jackson Veterans census he was in Co. "E" 3rd Kentucky Inft. from November 1, 1864 to February 17, 1865.
It is possible he was in both CSA (Confederate States Army) and the Union armies.conscripted into the CSA in KY, deserted and joined the Union Army. "Was conscripted into the CSA in KY, deserted and joined the Union Army"conscript; reported deserted June 25, 1863, after being absent with leave between Oct. 1862-June 25, 1863; (Three Forks Battalion, Co. E)
