Iowa Park Tex – May 17 - Glacaus Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lee of this place, died at their home here at 6 o'clock Thursday afternoon of pneumonia. This is the second death resulting indirectly from the epidemic of measles, from which our town is just recovering, the other being Miss Ethel Knight. Glaucus was 10 years 10 months and 7 days of age, and, though so young, was know to all as a boy of great integrity and more than ordinary ability. He had sold papers and worked in other ways and by saving his money carefully and a right neat sum to his credit at First National Bank at this place. He has also bought a town lot here and paid for it with his own money.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence this evening at 3:45. They were conducted by Judge J. Kennedy who was a great friend of the boy.
He literally slept on a bed of flowers, they being so profusely strewn in the coffin as to hid all his form and clothing his face only remaining in view of those who took a last tearful look at their loved one and friend.
Mrs. and Mrs. Cortes of Wichita Falls and other relatives from Oklahoma were present at the funeral.
