Flemings C. Hite , Sr., 82, of 2501 East Center St., died at 7:05 AM Sunday at Munal Clinic after And extended illness. He was born and spent his entire life in Sullivan County and worked for the Armstrong Construction Company before retiring about 20 years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carlie Hite, of the home; three daughters, Miss Mildred Hite, Mrs. Perry (Glenna) Bailey, and Mrs. Margaret Parnell, all of Kingsport; six sons, Clyde and Donnie Mack Hite, both of Kingsport, Ova Lee Hite, Indianapolis, Ind., James E. Hite, Fall Branch, Flemings C. Hite, Jr., Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Billy Paul Hite, Morristown; one brother, Paul Hite, Fall Branch; 20 Grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Carter's Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
