Sherry died October 19, 2009, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born October 18, 1949, in Brownsville, TN, the daughter of the late James Louis and Lenora Ellen Homesley Littrell. Sherry was educated in the local schools. Sherry graduated from South Side High School in 1968. Sherry was a registered nurse and a retired Psychiatric Technician for Western Mental Health Institute in Bolivar, TN. She was a member of Big Springs United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Michael Littrell and Randy Littrell. She leaves her husband, Vester "Sunny" Sims of Jackson; seven brothers, Robert (Virginia) Littrell of Blytheville, AR, J.P. (Sue) Littrell of Pinson, TN, O'Neil (Mary) Littrell of Jackson, Charles Littrell of Jackson, Virgil (Pat) Littrell of Humboldt, TN, Benny Joe (Judy) Littrell of Morristown, TN and Lynn (Katrina) Littrell of Jackson, TN; two step-daughters, Michelle Barber and Kasey Houston, both of Jackson; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jonathan Barber; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
