He retired as a delivery driver for Marathon Oil, Payne.
His wife, Kathryn, died in 1990.
Surviving are a son, Dale of Paulding; a daughter, Janet Bendele of Paulding; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Ohio time Wednesday at Denherder Funeral Home. Calling is 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
