Mrs. Maggie (Ansbach) Schlasman, widow of George E. Schlasman, died on Sunday at the home of a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Spannuth, near Myerstown. Before she went to reside with the daughter she resided for many years at Myerstown and as a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, became widely known throughout the community. She was 70 years of age and was a daughter of the late John and Amelia (Snyder) Ansbach [Anspach].

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fred Kieffer, Pine Grove; Mrs. George Spannuth, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Paul Lefever, Conowingo, Md., and a son, Ray, Mt. Aetna; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Harry, Myerstown, and Calvin, Fredericksburg.
