A veteran of U.S. Air Force, he relocated in 1974 to the Greenville, S.C. area and established his own industrial contracting business, Century 3, Inc. He was a member of U.S. Power Squadron.
Survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Wood Eason; sister, Barbara E. Martin; sisters-in-law, Donna Wood Berkley and Mary R. Wood; and mother-in-law, Frances Wood.
Graveside services will be Thursday, August 16, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C. Tyndall Funeral Home, Mount Olive, N.C. in charge
