George first married Mary Jane Fleenor 1865 - 1885. She was the grandaughter of Dr. Drury Fleenor who Fleenortown is named for. They married August 1883. They had no children before her death. She is reportedly buried in the Carnes Cemt. in Lee County.

He married Mary Elizabeth Abshire about 1885 and she is buried with him. They had 5 children: Nora, Mollie, William, Maude C., and Lillie V.

After Mary Abshire's death, he married Mary Alice Collier in 1900. During their marriage, Alice buried a set of triplets and a daughter, Gracie (1901 -1906). During their marriage he produced 2 more living children: Eula Bell 1903 and Georgia 1906. She raised his children by Mary Elizabeth until he died in 1906. The 1910 census finds her with her mother, sister-in-law, and brother in Kansas with her 2 daughters of course. The 1920 census finds her in Oklahoma with 2 of her brothers and her daughters. She married Mr. Brewster in 1925, but the 1930 census finds her in Oklahoma living with her older brother and she is listed as widowed. No children are living with them. She died in Oklahoma.
