She was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School. She had worked at JCPenney shortly after high school; became head of the fabrics department and was salesperson of the year at one time. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and was very gifted with sewing; she enjoyed visiting with family and making crafts.
Survivors include a sister, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and was more like a grandmother to them. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters. Arrangements are private and in the care of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville. Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
