Ona was united in marriage to John J Daniels on Sept. 21, 1925. John and Ona were blessed with 4 children; Gerald, (b. 1926), Delores (b. 1929), Betty (b. 1932), and John (b. 1936). After some time in North West Missouri, the couple moved to Des Moines, Iowa where they resided for the remainder of thier lives. Ona and John divorced in 1945.
In 1948, Ona married Harry Newcomb. Ona and Harry were active members in Union Park Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa.
Ona Died on April 14, 1991 in Des Moines, Harry died on Feb. 12, 1997 at a nursing home in Indianola, Iowa. They are buried side by side in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.
