TENNILLE, Ga. - Mr. Ralph Brantley, age 100, of Edwards Ford Road, Tennille, died Friday, April 5 at the Washington County Extended Care Facility. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 7 at Zeta Cemetery with Elder Kenneth Brantley officiating. Mr. Brantley was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the son of the late George Monroe Brantley Jr., and the late Bessie Jones Brantley. He was a retired farmer and a member of Mount Gilead Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Brantley is predeceased by his wife, Myrtle Tyson Brantley and a son Allen Brantley. Survivors are his son, Bobby Brantley and daughter Betty Ann Brantley Forrester, a brother, Lonnie Brantley, all of Tennille; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
