She was born April 10, 1919, in White Rock, Pa., daughter of the late Morris Ramsay Gray and Ida Mae Hart Gray.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Tait, a daughter, Ruth Ann Tait Shumar, brothers: Robert Gray and David Gray and sisters: Janet Gray Sacasky, Edna Gray Ingles and Helen Gray Jacobs.
Surviving are two grandchildren: Richard Shumar and his wife, Kristen of Grindstone, Pa. and Tina Shumar Remington and her husband, Shawn of New Salem Pa.; great-grand-children: Luke Shumar, Sarah Shumar and Peyton Remington; one sister, Ethel Davis and a brother, Samuel Gray.
Beryl was a member of White Rock Church, Georges Township.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 18, 2010 until 10 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Paul K. Lesher officiating.
Interment will follow, in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
