St. Clair - Lee Herr, 72, of 4430 St. Clair Highway, died early today at his home.
Mr. Herr was born Feb. 1, 1885 in Ontario. He lived here for
27 years and is the former owner of a St. Clair candy store. He and Eva Devroy were married April 15, 1916.
Mrs. Herr died June 13, 1955. Mr. Herr is survived by two brothers, Oliver Herr, Kitchener, Ont., and Robert Herr, Grand Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Mimaw, Benton Harbor, and five grandchildren.
Remains are in the Memorial Chapel funeral home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Frank Hartley, pastor of First Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
