Paul was retired from the General Electric Co. in Schenectady, where he had been employed for 25 years as a machinist. He also had worked in the meat department at the former Country Dollar Market in Halfmoon.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served with the 6314th Air Base Wing in San Francisco. He also had been stationed in Japan and while there received his high school degree through the military.
He was a life member of the Halfmoon-Waterford Fire Department. After his retirement, Paul enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He passed away the day after his best friend and pet, 'Patches,' passed away. He and his wife Elizabeth LaPlante Boulerice , who survives, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary February 3 of this year. He is also survived by his children, Paula J. Tokarz and her husband Howard of Halfmoon, Donna M. Prill and her husband Paul of Niskayuna, Timothy M. Boulerice Sr. and his wife Veronica Anne of Ballston Spa and Michael P. Boulerice and his wife Tammy of Saratoga Springs. He was the brother of Renee Boulerice of Clifton Park, Jean Heroux of Cohoes, Marcel Boulerice of Florida and the late Irene Balmes, and was the grandfather of Charles Hormanski, Kyle Prill, Michael Boulerice Jr., Timothy Boulerice Jr. and Jennifer Boulerice . A great-grandson and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Route 32) in Waterford, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Crescent. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
