Charles S. Jett was the Son of Thomas Jett and Eliza Higgins. Charles married Eliza Jane McKibbben in 1880 in Brooksville. They had two Sons Eddie and Albert Thomas. After Eliza's death he married Elludy Wilson, daughter of Jacob Washington Wilson abd Elizabeth Neave. They had three Sons: Harry, Howard Asbury and Hughie Alphus. Trageic news hit the family in March of 1918 when they learned their Son Hughie Alphus's ship the U.S.S. Cylcops was missing at sea without a trace.
