Born in Canada in 1858, he came to the U.S. in 1880. He was the son of Ferdenty (Fernandez) and Octavia Giroux Naubert. In the April 1889 Pierce County, Washington Territorial census, he was living with his wife, Cora, age 23, and one year old daughter. In 1900, he was in Tacoma with his 65 year old French Canadian father (listed as Ferdenty), wife Cora and children, Ethel, Frank, Amy, and Harry. In 1910, another child, Florence, had joined the family. His father was no longer with them. By 1920, Charles and Cora's son Harry, now 22, and Ethel and her husband Arthur Hamilton was living with them with their two children, Stuart and Virginia. Mr. Naubert passed away in Tacoma on February 1, 1940.

M.; of Afifi Temple of the Shrine, Scottish Rite; member of the Life Underwriters' association and of Commencement Lodge No. 7, Knights of Pythias, Tacoma. Mr. and Mrs. Naubert celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 25, 1935.
Surviving are his wife, Cora of the home; daughters, Mrs. Ethel N. Hamilton of Tacoma and Mrs. John W. Bush of Kent; sons, Frank C. and Harry W. Naubert of Tacoma; three brothers in Canada and nine grandchildren, Stuart, Virginia and Naubert Hamilton, Richard and Gerald Naubert and Bill and Beverly Naubert, all of Tacoma, and Mrs. Stanton Battin, Seattle, and Mrs. Lloyd Ottini, Kent.
