Ep married Henry Hendricks April 6, 1879 in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. They homesteaded in Brookings County, Dakota Territory together with his three brothers, beginning about 1878. After many years in South Dakota, they moved to Spokane sometime between 1910 and 1920. Ep was a past president of the South Dakota Association of Women's Clubs and a member of the First Methodist Church in Spokane.
