Daughter of Henry and Hope Lippencott Jones. Married Joshua F Ballinger February 9th 1784 in Gloucester County, New Jersey.

Joshua and Sarah were disowned by the Religious Society of Quakers for Marriage Contrary to Discipline, on 7th of 1st mo., 1785, as shown in Evesham Monthly Meeting Minutes, but on 8th of 1st month, 1808, they were granted a Certificate of Removal, from Evesham Monthly Meeting to Miami Monthly Meeting in Ohio.

Joshua's Last Will and Testament: Written 23rd of 12th month, 1812, proved 25 Jan 1814 in Champaign County, OH (Vol. A, p. 28) naming Sarah as his Executrix.

Sarah's Last Will and Testament: Written 17th of 11th month, 1817, proved 27 Jun 1818, naming Caleb Ballinger and Allen Haines as her Executors.

Their children were:

Elizabeth, b. 1790, Burlington County, NJ; m. 1810 to Joshua Sharp
