He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Bright Star Masonic Lodge No. 213 and Council Oaks O.E.S. No. 589. He retired from Keenan Gin Company where he was employed as head cotton ginner. He was born October 12, 1912 to the late Charles E. and Cena Adney Tilmon.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Bill, Erbie and Wayne Tilmon and three sisters, Ora Earls, Betty Keenan and dewey Hasty.
Survivors include: wife, Frances Tilmon of Dardanelle; one son, Tommy Tilmon of Little Rock; also included are several niece3s and nephews.
Funeral Service was September 11 at the First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle by the Rev. Bennie Harmon. Interment was in Brearley Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Services.
