Albert C. "Sandy" Sandoval, 84, went to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 15, 2010. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Rosita Sandoval, and by nine siblings. Survived by his wife, Minnie; children, Gerri (Leonard) Flores, Gene (Nancy) Sandoval, Lilli (John) Riggio, Tina (Phil) Cruz, Kathy (Rich) Conley, David (Bonnie) Sandoval, Angela (John) Winkler, Susan Tremewen, and Melissa (Matt) Richardson. He also is survived by 34 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four siblings. He cherished his loving wife of 62 years. He was a very loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Sandy served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He graduated with an automotive degree from Pueblo Junior College. He later worked for and retired from Goffe Motor Company and the Pueblo Army Depot. Sandy earned an honorary degree from the Bible Pathways Institute, and was known as a man of great faith. He was a founding member of Trinity Life Center. Visitation, 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral service, 2 p.m. Wednesday, Trinity Life Center, 36 Merritt Court.
