WATERFORD - Steven Ellis "Steve" Lee, 41, of 1917 Hickman Road, Waterford, died at 11:43 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 30, 2004), upon arrival at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 17, 1963 in Marietta to Ellis and Mildred Clark Lee.
He was a graduate of Marietta High School. He had worked as a metal handler at Eramet Corp. since 1991, where he was a union member of PACE 5-0639. Steve was a member of the Barnett Ridge Church of Christ. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. Also, he enjoyed singing and often had been a song leader at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Myla Wittekind Lee, whom he married on April 22, 1989; two sons, Steven C. Lee and Cody A. Lee; and daughter, Maranda D. Lee, all of the home; his mother of Marietta; two sisters, Debbie Barber (Don) of Nashville, Ill., Tammy Hendrickson (Dan) of Marietta; brother, David Lee (Susan) of Vincent; in-laws, Bruce and Pat Wittekind of Waterford; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, (Jan. 3, 2005), at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with ministers Wilbert Antill and Steven Fuchs officiating. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
