MILLSAPS, RUTH IRENE ATCHLEY - age 90, a longtime resident of Sevierville (TN), died Tuesday, January 16, 2001. She was born and raised in the Flat Creek area of Sevier County and was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church, Sevierville. Mrs. Millsaps was preceded in death by her parents, Serene and Priscilla Atchley; brothers, Mel, Walter, George, and Bruce Atchley; sisters, Bertha Atchley and Josie Atchley. Survivors: husband, Coy Milsaps; sister, Mettie Ann Allen; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Reverend Earl Lane officiating. Interment to follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery.
