HELEN B. WEATHERS LAURENS Mrs. Helen Bagwell Weathers, 61, of 407 Fleming St., wife of Monroe H. Weathers, died Feb. 16, 1988 in Laurens District Hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Wil-Ham Earl and Bessie Mae Ashmore Bagwell. She was a former employee of Laurens Mill and member of Laurens Second Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her husband of the home, are a daughter, Frankie Lou Weathers of the home; two stepsons, John A. Weathers of Laurens and Noel Lee Weathers of Orange, Calif.; two sisters, Katherine B. Alexander of Greenwood and Frances B. Taylor of Laurens; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Laurens Second Baptist Church with Dr. Joseph W. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Kennedy Mortuary. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Thursday.
