Emmaline was the daughter of George Woodward and Margaret Porter Woodward. She and her husband David Yancey Jr. had twelve children and were married 61 years. She lived, a widow, for nearly five more years, passing away a few days short of her 81st birthday. She and her husband were faithful members of the church of Christ throughout their adult lives. They are interred in Brigham Cemetery, near the center of the cemetery. Under the surrounding trees also rest a number of their children, grandchildren, and other relatives.
