Charles Homer Poole was the son of Hosea Dean Poole and Eliza Priscilla Leatherwood. Charles married twice; first wife was Gennie O. Crowe (1883-1905). Together they had two girls; Annie Mae Poole and Eliza Belle Poole. After Gennie's death he married Una Valerie Burdette (1879-1935).They had 4 children; Hazel, Jessie Lee, Toy and Tot.
