Survivors include two sons, Walter C., Fort Myers, and Davis, Tallahassee; two daughters, Frances Toole, Tampa, and Nina ""Teeny'' Paxton, Winston Salem, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
