Anna Catherine Wineland, 88, Altoona, Weds., Oct. 13, 2010 at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Altoona to George & Anna (Lasorak) Gladis. She married James David Wineland on June 1, 1946, at S/S Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Altoona and he died Feb. 29, 1984. Survived by 12 children: Mary Ann Stick, of Loretto; James G., of Flinton; Martha L. Rentz, of Hollidaysburg; Dorothy L. VanDenburg, of Greenfield Center, NY; Ruth A. Daughenbaugh, of York and Michael A., Rose M. Bittner, Catherine E. Harris, David A., Teresa M. Hoover, Patricia A. Sanders and Helen C. Carper, all of Altoona; 32 grandchildren; 23 gr. grandchildren and sister, Margaret Flick, Altoona. Predeceased by 5 children: Joseph John, Margaret Jean, Diana Lee, Dona Lou and Leroy Wineland; brothers: Elmer, George and John Gladis; and sisters: Helen Smith and Mary Martin.
