W. W. WASHINGTON DIES
AT LOCAL HOSPITAL

Warren W. Washington, 44 years old, a well known and highly respected farmer of Pleasant Valley neighborhood died yesterday evening at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital after a short illness of meningitis. He was a son of the late D. N. Washington, and of Mrs. Addie c. Washington.

He is survived by his mother, his widow, Mrs. Marguerite Washington, formerly Miss Marguerite Hughes, of Crozet, two children, William, aged 2, and Elizabeth, aged 8 months, and two sisters, Mrs. T. T. Dodge and Mrs. George Bowman, of Harrisonburg.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Sunday) from the home near Pleasant Valley at 10 A. M. and from Spader's Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Washington was a highly successful farmer, and was respected and beloved throughout the community. He was a member of the Harrisonburg Lodge of Odd Fellows.
