Clifton Ray Belt, 56, of Marion, died May 30 at Crittenden Hospital. He was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist and a heavy equipment operator and member of Local 181.
Surviving are two sons, George B. Belt of Benton and Stephen Belt of Marion; two sisters, Ava Lois Belt and Vivian Workman, both of Marion; two brothers, Aubrey R. Belt and Sylvan Belt, both of Marion; his mother, Ava Ruth Belt of Marion; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jewell A. Belt.
Funeral services were held June 2 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Carter and Rev. Robert Phillips officiating. Burial was in Mapleview Cemetery.
