Mrs. Miles, 83, of 334 N. Oakhurst Drive, Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Altoona, died at 9:10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, 1988, at the Glendale Memorial Hospital, Glendale, Calif., following a lengthy illness.
She was born Sept. 17, 1904, in Altoona, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Corbin, and married Walter Lynn Miles, who died June 13, 1969.
Surviving are two children: Gene of Los Angeles, and Patricia Herrman of Fleming, N.J.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Miles was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
