Funeral services for Sherman Gall will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Maroa Christian Church, with burial in Maroa Cemetery. Friends may call in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Mr. Gall, 69, of rural Maroa, died in Decatur Memorial Hospital at 10:08 p.m. Thursday.
He was born Jan. 22, 1899, in Nappanee, IN., a son of Jacob and Loella Thompson Gall.
Mr. Gall, a farmer, lived in Maroa 47 years.
On June 24, 1925, he married Elsie Arehart in Decatur.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James (Sherleen) Scheibly of Urbana; a brother, Elmer of Nappanee, IN.; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Stockhouse of Etna Green, IN., Mrs. Cora Golden of Wakarusa, IN., and Mrs. Bess George of Elkhart, IN.; and two grandchildren.
Two brothers and a grandchild preceded him in death.
