HARROD, Apr. 20 - Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Hay, Harrod, will observe their golden wedding anniversary Sunday. A family dinner is planned in their home. Sunday is also the birthday of Mrs. Hay.
The couple was married Apr. 18, 1900, in the Ada Methodist church parsonage by the Rev. Samuel Scott. Mrs. Hay is the former Siddie Rice, daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Lemuel Rice of Ada.
They have lived in this community most of their life and are the parents of four daughters, Mrs. Martha Hiett, Risingsun; Mrs. Mary Strahm, Route 1, Waynesfield; Miss Ruth Hay, Gainesville, Fla., and Mrs. Betty Searfoss, Route 1, Harrod; three sons, Herbert, Bridgeport, Conn; Donald, Gainesville, and William, Bellingham, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Clyde Hay
HARROD, Aug. 30 - Mrs. Siddie E. Hay, 70, wife of Clyde Hay, Harrod, died of a heart attack at 10 p.m. Tuesday in her home.
Born in Hardin-co, Apr. 23, 1880, she had lived in Harrod 50 years and was a member of the Methodist church here.
Surviving besides her husband, are three sons, Herbert, Bridgeport, Conn.; Donald, Gainesville, Fla., and William, Bellingham, Wash; four daughters, Mrs. Martha Hiett, Risingsun; Mrs. Mary Strahm, Route 1, Waynesfield; Mrs. Betty Searfoss, Route 1, Harrod, and Miss Ruth Hay, Gainesville; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a brother, Dale Rice, Mentor; two sisters, Mrs. Artie Klingler and Mrs. John Phillips, both of Ada.
The body is in the Hanson funeral home, Alger. Arrangements are incomplete.
