Johnson, Mrs. Joseph
Mrs. Joseph Johnson, an old and esteemed resident of this community, died at her home on the Big Hand road, Wednesday at noon, after an illness of six months
Mrs. Johnson was born in Toronto, Canada, Sept. 2, 1863. About 32 years ago she came with her husband and family to St. Clair.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Jones, St. Clair; three sons, James at home, Joseph, St. Clair and Arthur of Detroit; one brother, Arthur Avery, of Los Angeles, Calif., and eight grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Jos. Brown, died in 1919.A granddaughter, Dorothy Brown, has made her home with her grandparent since the death of her mother. She was a member of the First Methodist church.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and 2:30 from the First Methodist church, Rev. George B. Marsh, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery.
