86-YEAR OLD CATOOSAN TO BE BURIED TODAY
Funeral services for John Reynolds, 86, resident of Catoosa since 1888, who died in a Claremore hospital Tuesday night after a two month illness, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Catoosa High School auditorium with Rev. R.E. Hurley officiating. Burial will be in the Catoosa cemetery under the direction of the Kennard Funeral Home of Broken Arrow. Reynolds, who came to Indian Territory in 1875 from Tennessee, was one of the first hotel owners in Catoosa. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Maude Conley, Catoosa, and Mrs. Pearl Treadwell, Oklahoma City, nine granchildren and five great-grandchildren.
