Three-year old Carold Lynn Bouchee took off her little shoes and waded into Mill Creek, a fast moving mountain stream.

A short time later her family pulled her body from the creek, one and one half miles downstream.

Coroner Wesley Cloyd said the little girl was with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Bouchee of Livingston, and some friends on a Sunday outing, about 20, miles south of Livingston.

Cloyd said he did not plan an inquest into the death.

Carol was the second person to die violently in Montana in the long July 4th weekend.
