Services for Loy Earl Bridges, 77, were held at 2 p.m. last Thursday in the Assembly of God Church. He died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1986 in a Tulsa hospital. A native of St. Joe, Arkansas, he was born Sept. 7, 1909. He had lived in the Catoosa area since 1927. He was a 35-year member of the Shop Iron Workers Union 620 and a retired employee of the Lee C. Moore Corp., retiring in 1975. Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of the home; one son, Wayne (Skip) Bridges of Plano, Texas; one daughter, Sharon Wilson, Claremore and five grandchildren. Interment was in Dick Duck Cemetery under direction of Kennard Funeral Service. (Catoosa Times-Herald)
