W. STAUFFER DIES AT NEW HOLLAND
Wayne W. Stauffer, eighty-eight, 211 Brimmer Ave., New Holland, died Saturday at 11:45p.m. at the home of his daughter, Laura, wife of Clarence Weaver, New Holland, after an illness of eight months.
Stauffer was a former resident of Goodville where he was born a son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth Bowers Stauffer. He was a retired farmer and served for many years as a deacon and elder in St. John's United Church of Christ at Center.
In addition to Mrs. Weaver, Stauffer is survived by the following children:
Lydia, wife of William Law of Ardmore; Anna wife of Ivan A. Shirk, New Holland; Ivan W.; New Holland; Harry W., Reinholds R1, John G., and Alvin W. of Goodville.
He is survived by 25 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Edwin, New Holland; and John Jacob, Churchtown.
