Daughter of Joseph Ellsworth Robbins, Jr. and Emily Grace (Cummins) Robbins.
Wife of #1 Stephen McKinley Housel and #2 Roscoe Clement Andrews.
Mother of Norma Lee and Marjorie Jane Housel.

FUNERAL CARD:
Buena Jane Robbins was born in the Indian Territory in what is now known as Catoosa, Oklahoma to Joseph Ellsworth and Grace Emily Robbins on May 10, 1905. She attended school in Catoosa, as well as Tulsa, Oklahoma. When Buena was a young girl, a Christian man came to her door and sold her mother the book entitled "Bible Readings for the Home". That book had such a great impact that her entire family became Seventh-Day Adventists. Buena, along with her brothers and sisters, attended our church school when it was on Sixth Street. She was married to Stephen Housel on November 29, 1924. To this union was born two daughters, Norma Lee and Marjorie Jane Housel. She moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1948. Three years later, in 1951, she was married to Roscoe Andrews, also of Lincoln, Nebraska. She moved back to Tulsa in 1963 and again became active in the Tulsa SDA church. Buena also managed the school cafeteria for over five years, where she apparently became quite famous for her lentil burgers. She loved nursing and worked as an LPN for almost 30 years. She is survived by her daughter Marjorie and son-in-law, Leon Geren; sisters, Myrtle, Neva and Gracie; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
