The body of Mrs. Alexander S. Coke will arrive in Dallas from Baltimore tomorrow night over the Katy Railroad, accompanied by Alexander S. Coke and Mr. and Mrs. Seth Miller, and will be received by George W. Loudermilk, undertaker. The funeral will be conducted at the residence, Armstrong Avenue and Cowper Street, Highland Park, Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. The pallbearers had not been selected last night.
Mrs. Coke had been in the Johns Hopkins Sanitarium for treatment for about a month and died there Friday. Her husband and a cousin, Mrs. Seth Miller, were with her at the time of her death.
Mrs. Coke was born in Talladega, Ala., forty-one years ago. She was the daughter of Congressman Bradford of Alabama. Her parents died when she was 10 years old and she came to Texas to live with her uncle, A. F. Hardie, and his wife. She was married to Alexander S. Coke April 7, 1896. Mr. Coke is prominent in the Dallas bar. Besides her husband, Mrs. Coke leaves a son, William; three brothers, C. Bradford, Brownwood Tex., Hardie Bradford, Alabama, and Dr. Kenneth Bradford, Staunton Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Hardeman Mead and Mrs. Harry White, both of Birmingham, Ala., and her uncle A. F. Hardie of Dallas.
