Donald Ernest Entwistle, 61, of 204 Clark St., Oglesby, died April 9 in St. Margaret's Hospital, Spring Valley, where he had been admitted earlier in the day.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Perry Funeral Home, Oglesby, with the Rev. Fred Doughty of Faith Assembly of God of Peru, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, La Salle, with a flag folding ceremony by the Oglesby American Legion.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

He was born June 6, 1926 in Oglesby to Ernest and Mary Martin Entwistle. He married Lois Dole March 28, 1948. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Navy with the SeaBees. He had been employed by the Illinois Power Co., for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife Lois.

Memorials may be directed to the DeAngelo Cancer Unit.
