Prof. Henry Vosholl died at his home in Warrenton, Friday, August 5, 1938, at the age of 86 years. He was born in Illinois on May 1, 1852, the son of Rev. and Mrs. Henry Vogt. In his boyhood, the family lived at a number of places in Illinois and Iowa.
He married Emily Eisenberg in 1890. She died in 1910. Five years later he married Mrs. Vogt.
He was a professor of English and History at Central Wesleyan College for 56 years, and retired in 1934. He exerted a useful influence on the lives of the hundreds of men and women who attended his classes. He served a term as a Representative in the legislature.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. A large number of people attended the services.
