Ricky L. Banks

Ricky L. Banks, AKA "Jack" to his riding buddies, 44, of Edinboro, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010, in a tragic motorcycle accident. Ricky was born August 16, 1966, in Bucyrus, Ohio.
He was a 1984 graduate of General McLane High School.
Son of David L and Nancy L. Blankenship Banks of Waterford.
He is also survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Teresa Lynn Bochert Banks and his son, Cody Alan Banks of Edinboro; also three brothers, Jerry Banks and his wife Lisa of Ga., Tim Banks and his wife Kelly of Edinboro, Tom Banks and his wife Jen of Edinboro; and many nieces and nephews.
Ricky loved his wife and son, the outdoors, riding his Harley, snowmobiling, hunting and always making people laugh and have a good time. He had a knack for using duct tape to make repairs on anything he could. Ricky was a member of VFW Post 740, Son of the American Legion in Fairview and McKean Ushers Club. He will be sadly missed by all.
There will be a private family service, Thursday at St. James Cemetery in Crossingville at 5:00 p.m.
Family and friends may join for a memorial dinner to pay respects to the family at VFW Post 740, 10613 Rt. 98, starting around 6:30 p.m.
