A native of Avon, South Dakota she was a lifelong resident of Jasper that was known for her love and skill of gardening.
Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Marshall, they married April 12, 1940, her daughter Shirley Weaver and her brothers Leslie Roeder, Leo Roeder and Charles Roeder.
Survivors include a son Talmage and wife Janice Marshall of Denison, Texas, her sisters, Dorothy Parker of Jasper and Buradee and husband Vernon Collins of Elkhart, Texas, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
