John “Jack” Bach, 89

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church for John “Jack” Bach of Cedarburg. Jack was born to eternal life on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006 at the Lasata Care Center at the age of 89. Visitation was held at the church prior to the service. Interment took place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery.
Jack was born in Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 21, 1916, the son of the late Raymond and Adelaide (nee Ertl) Bach. He was a graduate of Cedarburg High School and also graduated from Marquette University with a degree in chemical engineering.
On Oct. 27, 1945, Jack was united in marriage to the Helen McCauley in Cedarburg. He enjoyed playing cards, cars, golfing, boating, ice skating and most importantly, his family.
Beloved husband of the late Helen Nee McCauley. Loving father of Mary Bach Tom Filla and the late John. Loving grandpa of Mike & Kate. Dear brother of Kathryn (Jerry) Czisny.
Special thanks to Jennifer Halleman and Ron Scheel for loving care and friendship. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday August 22, 2:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia South Catholic Church . Interment Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Instate at the church Tuesday 12 Noon until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Macular Degeneration Foundation or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
